Robertson: Mohamed Salah continues with Liverpool... We are not worried!

Andy Robertson, defender of the English football team Liverpool, said that the team's players were not worried about the future of his colleague Mohamed Salah, as speculation continued about a world record bid from the Saudi League.

According to the German news agency, the Saudi Jeddah club had submitted an offer worth 150 million pounds ($189.7 million) a few days ago, but it was rejected by Mike Gordon, president of Fenway Sports Group, Liverpool's parent company Gordon considered the matter resolved. However, there has continued to be speculation about the possibility of Al-Ittihad making a new bid worth around £200 million to bring in Mohamed Salah (31 years old), currently considered the most prominent Arab player in the world.

Coach Jurgen Klopp reiterated Liverpool's position of rejecting the departure of Mohamed Salah after Sunday's game ended in a 3-0 win over Aston Villa, in which Salah scored one goal and contributed to the other two.

Robertson said the team's players agreed that Salah would not leave during the current transfer window, which is still open in Saudi Arabia.

He added that the team's players had put the matter aside, as had Salah, adding: "We will let others talk about this matter." He continued: "We have no concerns whatsoever. “For us, Mohamed Salah is a Liverpool player and we believe he will remain one for the foreseeable future.”

Robertson added: "He's extremely professional. "He does what he has to do. He is one of the best players in the world and he is a professional.”

He continued: "He's always committed to Liverpool and you saw that in his performance... Mohamed Salah responded in the best possible way and I think you saw the performance he showed." "I think it was very special.”
