That's why Haaland sleeps with tape over his mouth

Norway international Erling Haaland, England's Manchester City striker, revealed that he sleeps with his mouth closed as part of an intensive nighttime routine to maintain his excellent level with his side who achieved a historic treble last season.

Haaland follows an unusual nighttime routine that includes tying her mouth for three hours before bed and wearing blue light-blocking glasses.

The 23-year-old opened up about his nighttime habits in an interview with YouTuber Logan Paul on his own podcast, saying: “I think sleep is the most important thing in the world. I think about a good night's sleep, simple things like wearing blue glasses and blocking all signals in the bedroom. "It is really important."

He continued: “You should try covering your mouth with tape. i sleep with it Doing too many things is not good, but doing small things every day for long periods of time is really worth it.”

Haaland said the reason her mouth was taped shut was to improve breathing through the nostrils, while exposure to blue light sources such as electronic devices can affect sleep.

The Norwegian star's bedtime routine clearly works, as in his first season at Manchester City he scored 52 goals in various competitions and helped the club win the Champions League, Premier League and domestic cup.

He also set a single-season record with 36 goals in the Premier League last season.

Haaland previously revealed that his diet, which is based on eating beef hearts and liver as well as a milk drink, kale and spinach, helped him on the road to success.
